What Led Me to Become a Death Doula

Over the past twelve years I have had people die that I acted as caregiver for while maintaining my job in health insurance.

And yes, their deaths were heartbreaking to me. Yes, tears were shed.

That grief led me to Death Doula as a career. I understand that death happens, not only to the people I loved, it also happens to people I have not met yet. And it requires a certain sense of feeling and patience for the dying to be enveloped in. I will do what I can to make your last day on Earth go their way by following your wishes.
